360º Feedback provides the structure, confidentiality and comprehensive survey method necessary to accurately evaluate performance results and then share those results in the form of credible, constructive feedback.

Survey information is collected from a variety of sources, including supervisors, customers, peers, co-workers and direct reports, with the understanding that each source’s anonymity is protected.

Collected survey responses are entered into a database program. Scores are averaged and the results are reported in a matrix of performance data. The feedback will be both quantitative (numerical scores) and qualitative (narrative comments).

360º Feedback provides much more information than one usually finds in a performance appraisal.

The process focuses on observable behaviors that relate directly to the workplace. Using scaled ratings from multiple sources, the data is as finely tuned, comprehensive, detailed and accurate as any measurement of human performance can be.

The anonymity and confidentiality of the 360º process gives participants a safe environment in which to share information that otherwise would be hard to measure and difficult to communicate.

360º Feedback is delivered to recipients in a manner that allows them to most constructively receive it, with tact, objectivity and specific behaviors addressed.

The structure of the report facilitates participants in seeing quickly and clearly what has been identified as their strengths, as well as areas that need improvement.

Presented in printed form or on a computer file, the format provides participants the opportunity to review their report when they have the time to fully absorb it and reflect upon it.

360º Feedback is formulated specifically to facilitate developmental planning and to improve performance.

360º Feedback is not a one-time permanent fix. It is a diagnostic tool that should be administered periodically to track progress and create new priorities for development.
